Thank you so much for praying!
Thank you so much to Pastor Tommy Franks and Hamilton FWB in AL, and Pastor Randy Wright and Piney Grove FWB in AL for having me to present our ministry in person. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity!
Thanks for your continued prayers and support! Work inside and outside continues. Here you can see the baptistry being installed and some furring strips put on the trusses. We are waiting on the electrical to be done so that the insulation and sheetrock can be put in. Please continue to pray for mild weather and safety for our workers! Thank you so much!
February 2012
February Progress
Work in February is moving along! Our men met for another prayer breakfast and workday on February 4. By February 7, all the furring strips were up! Insulation and sheetrock are next, after the electrical guys finish their wiring. Hopefully the stonework will be finished this month, as well. Please pray for continued safety for the workers, God’s continued provision for supplies, and for the people traveling to help us with construction. Thank you SO much for all the prayers! To God be the glory–He is doing great things!!
Mid-January Progress
After our Men’s Prayer Breakfast on January 14, the men went over and worked on putting the floor on the platform and cleaning up the construction debris. Thanks for your continued prayers for good weather (what a miracle this mild winter has been!!!) and safety for construction workers.

The Beacon January 2012
December 11 was our Living Nativity Service.
On December 25 we had our Christmas Communion & Brunch.
The youth did a wonderful job presenting our Living Nativity this year. The older youth narrated with some dramatic flair, and then the Youth Chorus sang for us. On Christmas Day we gathered for a yummy brunch and a beautiful time of worship together. What a great day!
Special thanks to John Buschmann, Ed Verra, & Joe Fahed who came from Good News Free Will Baptist Church in Chesterfield, VA. They came to help put up siding and the steeple. They also built the sound booth! Special thanks to Dr. Dave Nobles from Bethel Free Will Baptist in Woodbridge, VA, who came and laid the wiring for our sound system!
After the Men’s Prayer Breakfast, the men came and worked at the church on January 14. ![]()

Living Nativity 2011
Our children presented a Living Nativity with the help of the teens and older youth who narrated with a little drama. What a blessing to have a real baby as Baby Jesus this year, Mr. Warner’s first great-grandchild, Connor Raymond Armstrong. Afterwards we enjoyed a delicious ham dinner!
